The type of girl we are hoping to portray is a typical teenage girl who leads a normal life however there is rebellion in her at the same time. The scenes we will show are different to her usual life, however going to a party is a regular occurrence. We want to convey a typical British rock chic style which looks thrown together, effortless and yet somehow still stylish.

This black 'Rock&Roll' style vest top is a perfect example of what the main protagonist would wear to a party. The top has a rebellious theme which suits our main protagonist's rebellious nature and uniqueness.

Fishnet or ripped tights are necessities in emulating the punk style of the main protagonist. The tights can enhance the main protagonist's sexuality and femininity whilst still maintaining an edge.

By wearing biker style boots instead of typical high heels, the main protagonist is reflecting her rebellious and unique personality. Also, adding strength and masculinity to the look. This also shows her personality as tough, different and not a stereotypical feminine girl.

Necklaces are usually symbols of femininity but a chain necklace subverts this idea as it adds a masculine, punk look. The metal also reflects her personality as it shows a tough, hard side to her.

Testing

Makeup and Hair

Makeup

By testing the hair and makeup we were able to get a precise and clear idea of what our main protagonist should look like. Here eye makeup was achieved by using black eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara. We thought this was essential to creating a 'rock chic, party girl' look as black eye makeup is a convention of the 'grunge' style and is commonly used by women when they go out in the evenings.
